Putting the disappointment of a loss in the NBL Grand Final series behind him, Anthony Drmic is enjoying a stellar SEABL season so far for the Dandenong Rangers and has earned the Round 3 Player of the Week award on the back of two more dominant performances.

He averaged a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds while adding 2.5 steals per game as the Rangers followed a loss to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) with a win over Diamond Valley.

Despite the defeat at the hands of the CoE on Saturday night, Drmic was still the game-high scorer with 31 points on 11-19 shooting which included three three-pointers.

He combined that offensive performance with 12 rebounds, two assists and four steals which helped the Rangers score 15 points off turnovers.

Drmic also scored seven points in the final quarter as Dandenong made a charge but the comeback proved to come too late as they fell at home.

The following day, the Rangers hit the road to take on Diamond Valley and Drmic carried over his form from the night before with seven points in the last two minutes of the opening quarter.

Dandenong had garnered a 16-point lead but the Eagles fought back to trim the deficit to two points by half-time with only Drmic able to hold them off, adding another eight points before the main break.

The Rangers were only able to move in front by four at three-quarter time but pulled away for an 83-74 victory on the back of a 25-16 final term.

Drmic scored another six points during that run and his relentless attack on the basket allowed him to shoot 11-14 from the free-throw line while also draining another two three-pointers.

Anthony Drmic Round 3 Stats: 28 points on 17-31 (55%) shooting including 5-12 three-point shooting, 11 rebounds (2.5 offensive), 1.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
